Affirmations That Lead To Transformations

Affirmations That Lead To Transformations

In all spiritual traditions and religions we find an assortment of spiritual practices that the devotees follow.

Christianity, Islam, and Sikhism highlight the power of prayer. Buddhism expresses the importance of stilling your body and resting in meditation. Hinduism is filled with a variety of rituals that help the devotees honor Source*.

While there’s no one way to honor the Infinite*, we can learn a great deal by looking deeper into these practices. As we embrace these practices on a deeper level we can remind ourselves just powerful we are.

As New Thought and Law of Attraction sweeps through this modern age, there’s another spiritual practice that has been adopted by countless spiritual seekers. This practice is affirmations.

Do Affirmations Work

Before we jump into if affirmations work, let’s first discuss what an affirmation is. An affirmation is a declaration or proclamation, it is the action or process of affirming something or being affirmed.

There are many people who use affirmations and depending on whom you ask, some will say they have little to no effect on their experience, while others will attest to the profound difference they’ve made in their life.

From personal experience I’ve found they work, but only if I work. It can be fairly easy to think powerful thoughts of love, compassion and prosperity, but if you are unwilling to move yourself into action, nothing will occur.

On the other hand, if affirmations are embraced and understood on a conscious level, one’s thoughts begin to change and as thoughts change, actions follow that inner transformation.

Affirmations are not like waving a magic wand and suddenly what you affirm becomes true, it is more like you remind yourself of the truth that already is. It is about reminding yourself of your inner Essence, your inner Light and the sacredness of your spirit.

You are a child of the Infinite.

Below you will find 5 powerful affirmations you can apply to your daily experience. Use these to remind yourself who you truly are.
